On Friday December 16th 2006 Simon Bendell was found murdered in his home. The soul and funk scene has lost a friend, important voice and respected collector.

The mother of his two children Oliver and Giorgi has been arrested in connection to his murder.

We will be donating the profits from the opening night of Soul Revolution to his children and some of his favourite records will be played including "Honey and The Bees", "Soul Hustlers" and "The Blue Grass" as a mark or respect.
